| Ostrich Stroganoff - Serves 2
|
Ingredients:
- 300g Oslinc Ostrich fillet or steak, thinly sliced.
- 45ml (3 level tbsp) seasoned flour.
- 50g (2oz) English butter
- 1 onion, skinned and thinly sliced.
- 225g (8oz) mushrooms, wiped and sliced.
- 150ml (5oz) soured cream
- salt and freshly ground pepper.
Method:
- Cut Ostrich into strips and coat in seasoned flour.
- Fry the onions and mushrooms in half the butter untill soft.
- Add the remaining butter and meat and cook for approx 2 minutes stir in the sour cream and season well, using plenty of pepper.
- Heat to temperature and serve at once with rice.
