Ostrich Burgers in Focaccia with Fiery Avocado Salsa - Serves 2  


Ingredients:

  • 2 Ostrich Burgers,
  • 1 focaccia split and warmed.
  • For the salsa:
    • 1 avocado peeled and diced,
    • 1tsp lemon juice,
    • 1 tomato skinned and diced,
    • 1tbs fresh chopped coriander,
    • 1tsp chopped pickled ginger (optional)
    • 1tsp fresh chopped chilli (or to taste)
    • 1tbs finely diced red onion

Method:

  • Grill burgers for 10-12 mins under a moderate grill.
  • Mix all ingredients for the salsa and season with a pinch of salt and sugar.
  • Place burgees inside focaccia, top with salsa and serve.
